press prints

this is one of the templates i will use to make my press pints of the text i am going to make in the similar style of jaspa johns i thought these colours were more successful as it shows a good transitioning

after using ink to create my own versions of the jaspa Johns 0 through 9 i created a similar design using my stencils of letters i created in the last piece of work i thought this turned out quite well this gave me a idea to try the same style using press print as i think that would give a similar styles also i can create many of them

i looked at jaspa johns as a artist i could relate my work to i liked the way he used numbers to design small pop art pieces with stencils i had a go at creating my own type of his work

smaller designs

after coming up with the bigger piece i thought i could use the smaller text to zoom in on i then took these smaller designs into photo shop and have created smaller logos using the smaller text from this

stencil work

 after doing work using cut out stencils of letters i came up with the ideas of having in washed in to my stencil to create the letter outline however this looked very plain so i decided to add cut out artical as a back ground by over lapping pages and pages and using the titles of the artical to stand out
